V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Change & Release Management Engineer for our premier client in Plano, Texas.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Technical Requirements and Certifications »

• ITIL Certification (version 3 or 4) is preferred.

Education and Experience »

• Demonstrated experience in IT operations and IT Service Management position.
• Proven experience with IT Service Management, and ITIL practices, with practitioner certification in Incident, Change, Release, and Problem Management preferably.
• Knowledge of deployment and implementation methodologies (Agile, CI/CD, Blue/Green, Canary) of related technical change management experience.
• Experience in project management and knowledge of approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Understanding of configuration management principles.

Must Haves:

• Highlight Top 3-5 skills:
• Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Required.
• 10 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.).
• Strong understanding of ITIL best practices.
• JIRA Service Management and ServiceNow = Required, 5 years a minimum.

• Least Privilege Principle.
• Self-Service Access Requests.

Data Management:

• Anonymize or Use Synthetic Data.
• Automated Data Refresh.
• Data Quality Monitoring.

Change Management:

• Lightweight Change Control.
• Automate Approvals.
• Continuous Deployment with Gateways.

Monitoring:

• Centralized Monitoring and Alerts.
• Continuous Feedback.

Other Business Support:

• Business Continuity.
• Automated Backups.
• Disaster Recovery Testing.
• Cloud-based Redundancy.
• Shift Left on Quality.
• Documentation Automation.
• Environment as Code.
