  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  2. Click. then Settings.
  3. Click Privacy and Security.
  4. Click Site settings.
  5. Click JavaScript.

Position purpose

The Mechanical Designer creates mechanical fabrication drawings and documents for our heater department.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks

  • Review project requirements
  • Produce 3D drawings based on specs
  • Interact with sales and project engineering to resolve questions
  • Revise drawings to meet customer final requirements
  • Create BOM and do calculations to ensure accuracy
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent in drafting/design
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience
  • Knowledge of Autodesk Inventor 2016
  • Ability to read drawings, as well as P& ID
  • Knowledge of ASME code
  • Demonstrated ability to read and understand specifications
