This position requires an experienced professional with a passion for clean energy, and mechanical design utilizing CATIA. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development and validation of various mechanical parts, using CATIA for CAD modeling
- Contribute to prototyping, testing, and validation of these parts
- Work cross-functionally with multiple teams including the high-voltage engineering team
Requirements:
- Good understanding of Mechanical Engineering fundamentals
- Demonstrate ability to apply first-principles engineering
- Experience with at least one 3D CAD package, preferably CATIA
- Previous working experience with high voltage testing, power electronics, and analog electronics
- Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication skills
- Matlab modeling experience is a major plus
Education:
- Field(s) of study: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related fields
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD Degree program at an accredited university.
- Proof of enrollment in current or into next program (MS, PhD)
Compensation:
The compensation for the position is $48 to $66 per hour
