Job Description

As a Senior Python Developer at InvitaTech Solutions, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems that support high-traffic applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create efficient, secure, and high-performing solutions that meet modern industry standards. This role is 100% remote but is open only to U.S. residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain scalable Python-based applications and backend services.
  • Design and optimize RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints for seamless data exchange.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and UX/UI designers to build efficient solutions.
  • Work with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases to ensure high-performance data storage and retrieval.
  • Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
  • Optimize platform performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex backend issues.
  • Stay updated with emerging Python technologies, frameworks, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Python development.
  • Strong expertise in Django or Flask frameworks.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets.
  • Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
  • Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (Green Card holder).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
  • Knowledge of asynchronous programming (Celery, RabbitMQ, Kafka).
  • Experience with machine learning or data engineering is a plus.
