
Property Associate - $22-$24/hr- Washington, DC
Our client, a leading commercial real estate firm, is looking for a Property Associate to join their team in Washington, D.C.!
- Support property management operations by handling administrative and financial tasks.
- Review and process accounts payable invoices, ensuring accuracy in coding and approvals.
- Assist with accounts receivable, including billing, collections, and tenant statements.
- Maintain lease documentation, track notifications, and ensure timely distribution.
- Coordinate tenant and vendor relations, responding to inquiries and managing access requests.
- Track and ensure compliance with tenant and contractor insurance certificates.
- Provide general office support, including managing correspondence, reports, and mail distribution.
- Organize and maintain physical and digital filing systems for property records.
- Assist in budget preparation, financial reporting, and expense tracking.
- Manage building access, work orders, and maintenance coordination.
- Assist with new tenant onboarding, move-in/move-out processes, and compliance audits.
- High school diploma required; BA/BS preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in commercial real estate or property management.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with tenants, vendors, and internal teams.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Experience managing vendor contracts and compliance documentation is a plus.
- $22/hr - $24/hr
- Temporary full-time position from April 1, 2025 - July 31, 2025.
- On-site at L'Enfant Metro, Washington, DC.
- 40-hour workweek
