We are currently representing a prestigious national general contractor with a strong reputation in the construction industry. Our client is seeking a Senior Project Executive to lead a $200M ground-up Life Sciences project in Columbus, Ohio. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a cutting-edge facility that will have a significant impact on the life sciences sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of a large-scale, complex Life Sciences project, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery.
- Client & Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
- Team Oversight: Lead and mentor project teams, including project managers, superintendents, and support staff, to drive performance and ensure high standards of safety and quality.
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, mitigating risks and solving problems proactively.
- Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure that the project complies with all regulatory, safety, and environmental standards while maintaining quality throughout all phases of construction.
- Reporting: Provide regular progress updates to the client and senior management, tracking key performance indicators and managing reporting processes.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on large-scale commercial or institutional projects.
- Proven experience leading Life Sciences, pharmaceutical, or laboratory construction projects is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively direct multi-disciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Experience managing projects valued at $100M+, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards for Life Sciences facilities.
