Hours: 40/week

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 10am - 6pm

Compensation: $21.15/hour ($44,000 per year)

Contract: Two months, temp to hire

Armoire serves as a trusted advisor to help women build an elevated wardrobe that inspires confidence. With smart data and stylist picks, Armoire provides members with curated and personalized recommendations that make getting dressed all that much easier.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic retail & personal styling associate to join our team. This position provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple facets of our business, including personal styling, retail operations and customer experience. You will work closely with various departments, gaining insight into the daily operations of a successful e-commerce startup.

As a retail & personal styling associate, you’ll be joining a rapidly growing part of Armoire’s business. You’ll play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience by helping members find outfits they love while supporting sustainable fashion. Your role will involve working with our members in person in our retail space in SODO and online, where you’ll fulfill our members’ personal styling requests using our digital platforms to curate personalized recommendations. You are passionate about fashion, highly customer-oriented, and eager to create an engaging and supportive style journey for each member.

Your day to day responsibilities include:

  • Serve as a proud brand ambassador of Armoire, champion our core values to our customers and the team
  • Deliver exceptional customer support and develop lasting relationships with our members, both virtually and in person
  • Keep our appointments running smoothly, pulling styles for members and helping them check in and out
  • Run personal styling appointments for members and prospects, including curating styles and providing fashion and style advice
  • Fulfill members’ stylist closet and case requests online based on member’s stated preferences, rental history, lifestyle, weather and any other relevant information
  • Curate virtual closets for the marketing team based on current trends and inventory
  • Contribute to various ad-hoc projects that support the overall growth and efficiency of the company.

Qualifications:

  • Graduated from a relevant degree program (e.g., Fashion, Business, Communications, Marketing).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passionate about fashion and e-commerce.
  • Proactive, creative, and eager to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements:

  • You must be able to work on-site at Armoire’s warehouse in SODO, Seattle 10am - 6pm, Tuesday - Saturday.
  • Physical requirements may include moving racks of inventory through the warehouse, lifting packages of up to around 20 pounds.
