RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a UX Designer in Westlake, TX.
Responsibilities:
* Building the next generation of desktop functionality and workflow processing applications
* Play a key role in concepting and crafting cohesive and intuitive user experience
* Partnering with user researcher, subject matter experts, users and developers to craft outstanding user experiences for modern web applications
* Partner closely with business and technology teams to find elegant but practical solutions to design challenges
* Produce human-focused design approaches that focuses on user needs, business objectives, and technical capabilities
* Work as an individual contributor as well as collaborate with a team of designers in agile sprint cycles
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Sciences, Human-Centered Design, or other relevant degree with 5+ years of UXD experience
* A digital portfolio showcasing your recent work
* Experience designing for financial, or enterprise applications required
* Expertise in delivering end-to-end user experience designs focusing on entire user journeys and interactions
* Expertise in common design and prototyping tools such as Figma (preferred) and/or Balsamiq
* Experience in using research to support evidence-focused design decisions
* Effective communication as a writer, presenter, and facilitator; equally at ease speaking with product owners, senior leaders, and executives
* A foundation of development knowledge, both web and mobile
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
