Job Description:
Works closely with the Senior Product Manager to understand the Features and Product Roadmap to understands the overall product vision, including customer experience
Defines the approach within the scrum team and ensures it is communicated to all scrum team members. Communicates clearly and regularly about the user stories and the connection to the features (customer/business requirements)
Responsible for partnering with the SPM in decomposing the Features into User Stories, with testable acceptance criteria (including reporting acceptance criteria if applicable)
Prioritizes the Team Backlog to streamline the execution of value priorities, while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the Features or components for the team
Works with UX and development teams to work on backlog grooming, prioritize bug fixes, UX improvements and feature expansion/elimination. Ensures grooming is taking regularly and the team is loading is able to load their sprint at PI planning with a well-groomed backlog
Accepts the stories satisfactory completion in reaching all of the stated acceptance criteria
Monitors team agile metrics, helping to identify areas for improvement and is the only member of the team empowered to accept stories as done
Collaborates with other scrum teams to identify/create dependencies around Feature delivery; negotiates prioritization of dependencies with other Product Managers - commits to dependencies opened against the team
Provides inputs for release management on defect criticality or related issues to facilitate production deployment decisions
