About the Role - Account Managers are responsible for generating sales revenue within their assigned discipline and territory. This role is responsible for developing some existing relationships with primary focus on adding new prospects. Account Manager will be supported by business development, marketing qualified leads, and self prospecting. Travel is expected to visit key accounts and relevant trade events. Account manager will identify client needs related to our solutions for data, risk, digital marketing or other solutions.
Responsibilities
- Build rapport with key contacts at all levels within assigned territory and generate interest.
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects and source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound contact.
- Meet or exceed targets related to revenue quota, activities and retention metrics.
- Be a subject matter expert on our business products and remain up-to-date on industry news and market challenges.
- Utilize data and CRM tools to aid in tracking, qualifying and managing prospect base.
- Quickly identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/solutions and close sales opportunities, providing expertise to directly drive revenue.
Qualifications
- Knowledgeable and comfortable with CRM systems and sales forecasting processes.
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
Education - College degree in relevant business discipline or equivalent experience
Preferred Skills - Experience with leveraging data and insights to help clients succeed is preferred.
