As they expand, they are seeking a talented UI/UX Developer to join their team remotely.Role SummaryWe are looking for a highly skilled UI/UX Developer to design and develop intuitive and engaging user interfaces for our advanced technologies. You will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience, ensuring seamless interaction with our cutting-edge products. This role requires a strong understanding of UI/UX principles, proficiency in modern front-end development frameworks, a passion for creating user-centered designs, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. This is a fixed 40-hour per week contract.Core ResponsibilitiesUser Research & Design: Conduct user research, create user personas, develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.UI Development: Design and develop user-friendly interfaces for our products, focusing on performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across different devices.Front-End Architecture: Implement and maintain a robust front-end architecture, ensuring scalability and maintainability of the codebase.Technology Integration: Integrate front-end applications with backend APIs and services, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.User Experience Optimization: Conduct usability testing and analyze user feedback to continuously improve the user experience.Testing & Quality Assurance: Implement testing and quality assurance processes to ensure high-quality designs and code.Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver exceptional user experiences.Skills and QualificationsRequired:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in UI/UX design and front-end development.Technical Proficiency:UI/UX Design Tools: Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.Front-End Development: Strong understanding of core JavaScript concepts and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js). Experience with React is preferred.HTML/CSS: Expert-level knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3, including responsive design principles.UI/UX Principles: Deep understanding of UI/UX principles, best practices, and user-centered design methodologies.Testing: Experience with testing frameworks and usability testing methodologies.Version Control: Proficiency with Git.API Integration: Experience with integrating front-end applications with APIs.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 1Preferred:Experience with accessibility guidelines (WCAG).Experience with performance optimization tools and techniques.Experience with Agile development methodologies.Portfolio showcasing UI/UX design and front-end development skills.Why Join UsCompetitive contract compensation: Starting at $215,000 per year (equivalent to an hourly rate of approximately $103.37 based on a 40-hour work week).
