As a Process Engineer, you will ensure effective operations of the plant's manufacturing process by focusing on continuous improvement.

  • You will be accountable for:
  • Provide technical support to internal teams by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting process data, and identifying, troubleshooting, and solving process problems.
  • Optimize plant processes by reducing costs, increasing production, improving product quality, and ensuring food safety, while supporting process improvements and optimization projects.
  • Configure and maintain Aspen process historian, and provide technical tools and training for manufacturing personnel to better manage and interpret process data.
  • Support capital projects, including cost estimation, vendor coordination, and project management, while improving process safety and ensuring equipment maintenance aligns with safety standards.
  • Utilize SAP-PM for maintenance and capital projects, support digital tools for site operations, and ensure compliance with safety, industrial hygiene, and environmental policies.
  • Assist in defining process conditions, troubleshoot and resolve process issues, design tools for data communication, and implement improvement studies while analyzing and interpreting process and laboratory data.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering from a four-year accredited college or university (Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferable).
  • 0 - 3 years engineering experience in a processing plant.
  • Competencies:
  • Working knowledge of the production process, maintenance, process safety training, quality and safety systems.
  • Ability to learn relevant computer software such as Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Access, SAP, and others.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels and to work with peers in a variety of functions (Accounting, A/P, Purchasing, Maintenance, Engineering, Manufacturing, Corporate Staff, Contract Staff, outside vendors, etc.).
