Business Objective:
The Cellular and Tissue Genomics department in gRED is seeking a highly talented and passionate Research Technician II for a cutting-edge project implementing and developing technologies for large-scale tissue atlas generation. The successful candidate will be in the lab, and execute advanced molecular biology technologies for profiling tissue biology. They will support large-scale tissue data generation efforts to facilitate the development and application of computational algorithms and AI/ML models to decipher complex cellular circuits. An important part of the role will consist in communicating results and iterating on experimental design.
The ideal candidate for this position will:
- Have a Bachelor’s, Master's, or PhD degree in Biology, Genetics, biomedical engineering, or related field
- Be well-versed in designing and executing cell and molecular biology experiments, interpreting data, and making figures
- Have experience with spatial biology technology such as Visium, CosMX, Xenium, or any other FISH-based technology
- Be self-motivated, analytical, highly organized, and have great communication and interpersonal skills
- Contribute to team-based science and technology development
- Demonstrate a passion for science and eagerness to learn
