Primary Services is excited to announce the Benefits Manager role for a leading organization. This role is responsible for overseeing all health and welfare benefits programs, ensuring compliance, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. This high-impact position requires a strategic thinker with strong decision-making skills in vendor management, cost control, and benefits administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and administer the employee benefits package, including health, life, disability, and wellness plans.
  • Monitor compliance with laws and regulations related to benefits and ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors and providers, ensuring cost-effective and efficient services.
  • Oversee benefits enrollment, billing, and changes while troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Design and implement employee communication strategies related to benefits programs.
  • Analyze benefits utilization and provide reports on trends and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Evaluate existing providers and make strategic decisions regarding new providers and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses on billing discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in benefits management.
  • Extensive knowledge of employee benefits programs, compliance regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Proven experience making decisions on benefits providers and managing vendor relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience investigating billing discrepancies and cost analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
