Sales Engineer – Technical Sales (Automation & Robotics)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new business, managing client relationships, and providing technical expertise in automation and robotics solutions. If you are passionate about technology and the automation industry, and have a strong background in sales, this is an exciting opportunity to grow with us.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in sales and customer service, ideally in a technical or industrial sector.
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and highly productive.
  • Independent worker with the ability to manage tasks autonomously.
  • Experience in inventory management and control.
  • Open to all genders.

Key Skills:

  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Basic knowledge of automation, mechatronics, and robotics systems.
  • Experience in the sales process and customer negotiations.
  • Project management expertise.
  • Familiarity with Industry 4.0, collaborative robots (cobots), and Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs).
  • Proficient in reading CAD drawings.
  • Experience using CRM tools to manage sales processes and customer data.
  • Familiar with workstation setups and industrial equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct weekly client visits to establish and maintain strong relationships.
  • Prospect and identify new clients and business opportunities in the automation and robotics sectors.
  • Lead customer negotiations and close sales deals effectively.
  • Develop and propose innovative production systems tailored to client needs.
  • Sell and implement collaborative robots (cobots) and conveyor systems.
  • Collaborate closely with the technical and engineering teams to ensure successful project execution.
