Procurement Specialist
Job Description:
This role will serve as the contact point responsible for building and managing contractual relationships with key suppliers and internal business owners.
This role will support lower dollar and lower risk purchases including vendor security screenings, contract review & negotiation, RFI/RFPs, as well as price benchmarking and cost analysis.
3+ years of strategic sourcing and/or contract experience
• Experience with ERP and Source-to-Pay tools
• Experience in team environments and negotiating with internal and external stakeholders
• Comfort with written and verbal communication of quantitative and qualitative information
with executives
• Experience in contract development, administration, and/or management
• Experience managing multiple simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment with
several stakeholders
• Experience in negotiating deals with global vendors
Desired skills:
• Solid understanding of agreement legal terms and conditions
• Strong analytical skills; MS Excel proficient; financial modeling.
• Strong written and communication skills; MS PowerPoint, MS Word.
• Ability to work independently as well as lead and participate in cross functional teams
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment
• Excellent documentation and requirements analysis
