Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Division Chief of Fire Prevention located in Grand Island, NE. The Division Chief will oversee and manage fire prevention activities, conduct inspections, develop and implement fire safety policies, and coordinate with other departments on fire prevention strategies and community risk reduction.
Qualifications
- Experience in fire prevention, inspections, and safety policies
- Knowledge of fire codes and regulations
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders
- Certification in Fire Prevention
- Bachelor's degree in Fire Science, Public Administration, or a related field
