  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

We are looking for a Law Firm Accountant - REMOTE Position

Artegis Law Group is a growing patent law specialty firm located in the heart of Silicon Valley with attorneys and staff located across the United States. We are looking for a part-time accountant to work remotely to handle our internal accounting, receivables, and payables. The position will allow you to work directly with the managing partner of the firm as well as the other members of the firm’s management committee.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Processes accounts payable and accounts receivables
  • Prepare end-of-month and end-of-year financial statements
  • Process payroll
  • Interact with outside auditor to finalize end-of-year financial statements
  • Employee Benefits
  • Handle insurance (e.g., malpractice, healthcare, D&O), including insurance renewals

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred
  • 3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
  • Familiarity with Juris accounting/billing software platform preferred
  • High level of proficiency using QuickBooks and MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook
