  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  5. Click JavaScript.

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Salesforce Developer to join our team. In this role, you will assist in building, customizing, and supporting Salesforce applications while gaining hands-on experience working with Salesforce technologies, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and more as we migrate from a legacy org to a new Education Cloud org.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and customization of Salesforce applications, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.
  • Work closely, including pair-programming sessions, with the lead developer to implement solutions based on client requirements.
  • Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal functionality of Salesforce applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, QA, and clients, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of solutions.
  • Assist in the integration of Salesforce with third-party applications and external systems.
  • Maintain and support existing Salesforce applications and features, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Stay updated with the latest Salesforce developments, tools, and technologies. Be ready and willing to wear multiple “hats” and jump into admin tasks (flows, permissions, page layouts, experience sites, etc.) as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) and 1-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.
