  • Oversee the allocation, design, and layout of workspaces.
  • Conduct regular space audits and make recommendations for improvements.

Job Description:

  • Develop and implement space planning strategies that accommodate current and future organizational needs.
  • Analyze space requirements and provide solutions to maximize the use of physical resources.
  • Coordinate with department heads and management to understand departmental space needs.
  • Manage and update space management databases and CAD drawings.
  • Oversee the allocation, design, and layout of workspaces.
  • Conduct regular space audits and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Collaborate with facilities, IT, and security teams to ensure a cohesive work environment.
  • Manage relocations, renovations, and workspace adjustments.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and building regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of capital budgeting for space-related expenditures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • In lieu of degree will consider 10+ years or relative growth experience in Space Planning
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in space planning or facilities management.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and space planning tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of building codes, ADA regulations, and health and safety standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certification in Facilities Management or related field.
  • Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) software.
