Viewing sites in person, taking measurements, using planning software to build schematics.

- Oversee the allocation, design, and layout of workspaces.
- Conduct regular space audits and make recommendations for improvements.
Job Description:
- Develop and implement space planning strategies that accommodate current and future organizational needs.
- Analyze space requirements and provide solutions to maximize the use of physical resources.
- Coordinate with department heads and management to understand departmental space needs.
- Manage and update space management databases and CAD drawings.
- Oversee the allocation, design, and layout of workspaces.
- Conduct regular space audits and make recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with facilities, IT, and security teams to ensure a cohesive work environment.
- Manage relocations, renovations, and workspace adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and building regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of capital budgeting for space-related expenditures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- In lieu of degree will consider 10+ years or relative growth experience in Space Planning
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in space planning or facilities management.
- Proficiency in CAD software and space planning tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of building codes, ADA regulations, and health and safety standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certification in Facilities Management or related field.
- Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) software.
