We are seeking a Skilled Trades Recruiter to source, attract, and place top-tier talent in manufacturing, construction, and industrial sectors. This role requires a proactive, hands-on recruiter who understands the skilled trades industry and can build strong talent pipelines for high-demand roles, including maintenance technicians, machinists, welders, electricians, CNC operators, and more.

The ideal candidate is results-driven, relationship-focused, and highly organized, with a keen ability to match skilled professionals with the right opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Sourcing & Recruitment:

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top-skilled trade professionals.
  • Source candidates through job boards, social media, trade schools, career fairs, and industry networks.
  • Screen, interview, and assess candidates for technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified trade candidates to meet client needs.

Client & Candidate Relationship Management:

  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand workforce demands and job requirements.
  • Act as a consultant to clients, advising on market trends, compensation benchmarks, and hiring best practices.
  • Build strong relationships with candidates, providing career coaching, resume guidance, and interview preparation.
  • Ensure a seamless candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.

Process & Compliance:

  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process, from sourcing to placement and post-hire follow-up.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Work collaboratively with HR and operations teams to support workforce planning initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 2+ years of recruiting experience in skilled trades, industrial, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of skilled trades roles, certifications, and industry-specific hiring challenges.
  • Experience with ATS platforms, Indeed, Social Media, LinkedIn, and other sourcing tools.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not required).
