National Sales Director
The National Sales Director will lead the strategy, execution, and performance of the company’s national vaccine sales initiatives. As a hands-on leader, this role combines strategic vision with tactical execution, empowering a high-performing team to drive growth, foster innovation, and achieve exceptional results.

This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the company’s presence in the travel vaccine market, lead the wholesale and distribution relationships, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve sustained success.
Your Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Supply Chain, to ensure alignment and seamless implementation of strategic plans
- Leverage critical thinking to anticipate challenges, identify opportunities, and foster long-term business success
Team Leadership and Development
- Build a cohesive, motivated sales team through active recruiting, coaching, mentorship, and professional development initiatives
- Provide timely, actionable feedback that empowers team members to excel in their roles and achieve their personal and professional goals
- Actively listen to team perspectives and ideas, fostering an inclusive culture where everyone’s contributions are valued
- Champion a leadership style rooted in humility, allowing team members to shine while ensuring collective success
Operational Excellence
- Demonstrate exceptional organizational and project management skills to prioritize and execute sales initiatives efficiently
- Streamline workflows and leverage technology to optimize productivity and accountability across the team
Customer and Stakeholder Engagement
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and decision-makers to position the company as a trusted partner in the travel vaccine space
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and forums, enhancing the company’s brand reputation and visibility
- Deploy advanced negotiation and persuasion skills to secure partnerships and drive value for both customers
Performance and Financial Oversight
- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to track progress, identify trends, and refine strategies for continuous improvement
- Ensure all sales activities adhere to regulatory, corporate, and ethical standards, maintaining the highest levels of professionalism and integrity
- Oversee teams’ financial goals, budgeting, and forecasting to align with organizational priorities and deliver measurable results
Team Innovation and Growth
- Stay abreast of market trends, competitive intelligence, and emerging technologies to keep the team ahead of industry shifts
- Foster a culture of curiosity, innovation, and continuous learning to drive creativity and adaptability
- Inspire excitement and passion within the team, ensuring a shared commitment to excellence and achieving common goals
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Life Sciences, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is strongly preferred
- 10+ years of progressive sales experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industries, including 5+ years in a leadership role
- Demonstrated success in coaching, mentoring, and developing teams, with a proven track record of driving individual and team performance
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including active listening and the ability to deliver constructive, empowering feedback
- Expertise in negotiation and stakeholder management, with a professional presence that builds trust and credibility
- Strong critical thinking and innovative problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on adapting to a dynamic market environment
- Proficiency with CRM platforms, analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel extensively (50% or more) to support team activities and customer engagement initiatives

Salary Range - $170k - $245k
