Location: Concord, CA (Hybrid- Tue-Thu)
Duration: Contract to hire
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to join the team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in gathering, analyzing, and validating business requirements, collaborating with developers, and ensuring the successful implementation of Salesforce solutions. Strong expertise in Salesforce fundamentals, configuration, and project delivery is essential. A Salesforce certification is required, and financial domain knowledge is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with Salesforce capabilities and organizational goals.
- Work closely with Salesforce developers to translate business needs into technical requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Understand the existing Salesforce environment, including its architecture, features, and cloud services, to drive system optimization.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of Salesforce-related requirements.
- Validate Salesforce implementations by applying best practices in validation rules, permissions, and system configurations.
- Conduct impact assessments of proposed changes to Salesforce solutions and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Provide expertise on Salesforce features, cloud functionalities, and implementation processes.
- Assist product owners and business teams with Salesforce-savvy insights to enhance decision-making and project delivery.
- Document and share insights from Salesforce projects, including contributions to the development and validation process.
Qualifications:
- Salesforce certification (e.g., Salesforce Administrator) is required; additional certifications are a strong plus.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce implementations, validation rules, and system configurations.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce fundamentals, permissions, workflows, and features within various Salesforce clouds.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand business processes and translate them into technical requirements.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with developers, business stakeholders, and product owners.
- Experience working in environments where business stakeholders have advanced knowledge of Salesforce.
- Financial domain knowledge is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to clearly articulate experience with Salesforce projects, including specific contributions and roles.
