What You'll Be Doing

We're looking for a talented Data Analyst to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Dashboard Design and Business Intelligence
  • Develop, design, and maintain BI dashboards to visualize data and provide actionable insights. Experience with BI tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Sigma..etc) is required, Sigma is preferred.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define key metrics and create intuitive reports to support business goals.
  • Optimize dashboard performance and ensure data accuracy.
  • Data Analysis
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare and present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • SQL and Data Queries
  • Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries to retrieve, manipulate, and analyze data.
  • Validate and troubleshoot data pipelines, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Data Warehousing and Snowflake
  • Work with Snowflake to extract and manage large datasets efficiently.
  • Optimize data storage and retrieval to improve query performance and scalability.
  • ETL Tools and Data Pipelines
  • Build and maintain ETL pipelines to automate the extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources.
  • Ensure pipelines are robust, scalable, and documented for repeatable use.
  • Familiarity with Fivetran and DBT preferred.
  • Data Modeling and Architecture
  • Design and implement data models to support analytics and reporting needs.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to ensure the data architecture aligns with business requirements.

Qualifications

  • BS in a quantitative field, with 3+ years of industry experience
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, with a deep understanding of querying, performance optimization, and relational database concepts
  • Familiarity with data governance and best practices for data quality, security, and compliance.
  • Experience in data integration and combining data from various sources to create a unified and accurate dataset.
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts and architecture, including ETL processes, data modeling, and normalization.
  • Experience with data visualization in a BI tool (Sigma preferred)
  • Experience working with a data warehouse (Snowflake preferred)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • (Preferred) Experience with Python + Pandas
  • (Preferred) Familiarity or interest in SQL data pipelines with dbt and Fivetran
