What You'll Do

  • Lead the finance and accounting areas by setting clear vision and strategy, ensure strong internal controls and meet internal and external reporting requirements;
  • Effectively lead department managers in managing their teams, drive associate engagement, set clear and challenging goals, provide timely feedback and coaching, maintain sufficient communication and support;
  • Serve as the technical accounting expert and trusted advisor to senior management maintaining current knowledge of GAAP, relevant regulations and industry trends providing guidance, planning and direction related to all financial and accounting matters;
  • Oversee the development of annual business plans/budgets and ongoing financial forecasts. Work with business leaders to communicate plan elements, identify variances and develop corrective actions, where possible;
  • Oversee the monthly, quarterly and annual closings. Manages the preparation of the Company’s internal and external financial statements in compliance with US GAAP and high-quality consolidated financial analyses that are used by executive and senior management to gain business insights into the reported results;
  • Develop, evaluate and administer new and improved procedures focusing on a high degree of efficiency, timeliness and accuracy.

  • Ability to leverage strengths of the current finance team members
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high growth environment
  • Ownership mindset—data accuracy and reporting integrity are critical to our finance brand
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience in effectively communicating key data, including presentations to senior management, board, or other outside partners
  • Ability and desire to translate complex financial concepts to individuals at all levels including finance and non-finance managers
  • Proficiency in defining, documenting, and implementing accounting and processes
  • Above average Excel skills
  • Previous experience in SAP, Concur and or Adaptive Planning preferred

What You'll Need

  • Work History Requirements:
    • 10-15 years accounting experience
    • Previous public accounting experience a plus
  • Education Requirements:
    • Degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA desirable
    • CPA
