Job Summary:
MotoRad is looking for a Financial Analyst to join its Finance team, focused on creating and maintaining pricing for US and Mexico customers. The Financial Analyst is responsible for the analysis, reporting and execution of pricing strategies in support of the company’s financial goals and objectives. They will conduct ongoing pricing reviews and develop price sheets, customer quotations and profitability studies while implementing pricing integrity and accuracy across the entire product lifestyle. This role is responsible for leading the development of best-in-class pricing processes using benchmarking and implementing systems and solutions in support of our product and the company.
Key Duties / Responsibilities:
- Manage total pricing procedures, processes and analysis to ensure timely response to market conditions
- Maintain price data and review for improvements and necessary changes
- Analyze and report out on market trends as well as conduct market research to inform decisions
- Partnership in the development of annual budget and long-term financial plans
- Analyze financial impact of pricing as well as profitability of customer while ensuring alignment of company pricing objectives
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or other business/analytics related fields
- Expert skills in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills, with the desire to catch small details and systematically problem solve
- Professional communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex information in a concise manner in all mediums and in across multiple cultures
- Desire to independently assess, prioritize, and complete tasks
- Proven ability to execute under tight deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-3 years’ experience in financial analysis related to the role
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, etc.)
- Experience writing queries in SQL
- Ability to communicate in Spanish
