Description

SAIC is hiring a Business Process Management (BPM) Engineer for a contract with the FAA HQ in Washington, DC. This position is remote, and the applicant can reside anywhere within the U.S. but must be able to travel to SAIC facilities (Reston, VA and Washington D.C.) and FAA customer facilities (Washington, D.C. and Atlantic City, NJ) on an as-needed basis.

The Business Process Management (BPM) Engineer is r esponsible for creating and optimizing digital solutions to enhance FAA customer experience, streamline business and solution processes, and support the FAA's digital initiatives. This role involves working with cross-functional teams to implement cutting-edge technologies, integrate systems, and drive innovation.

In this role you would work with Enterprise Low-Code Application Platforms (LCAP) like Appian, Mendix, Salesforce Lightning Platform, Microsoft Power Apps, Zoho Creator, Pegasystems, ServiceNow Now Platform, OutSystems, SAP Extension Suite, or Nintex.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze, Design, Develop, and Maintain applications using industry-leading low-code automation software and business process management (BPM), developing Enterprise Low-Code Application Platforms (LCAP) using Digital Process Automation (DPA) process automation.
  • Create business process models, interfaces, and integrations to orchestrate and automate complex business processes.
  • Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and other stakeholders to align solutions with mission needs.
  • Model, automate, and optimize new and existing business processes to improve operational efficiency.
  • Integrate solutions with other systems and applications.
  • Create real-time insights using analytics dashboards.
  • Monitors and maintain digital platforms for reliability and performance.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree and nine (9) years or more of related experience or Master's degree and seven (7) years or more of related experience.
  • Experience with Low-Code Application Platforms (LCAP) using Digital Process Automation (DPA).
  • Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL database structures.
  • Experience with managing project backlogs and schedules.
  • Ability to accurately scope BPM projects.
  • Experience automating workflows and digital processes.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.

Desired Qualifications and Skills:
  • Certification with Low-Code Application Platforms (LCAP) using Digital Process Automation (DPA).
  • Experience coordinating with data engineers and analysts to provide digital solutions.
  • Experience developing user interfaces and experiences (UI/UX) using modern frameworks.
  • Experience working with Agile development teams using Jira and Confluence.
  • Knowledge and use of low-Code / No-Code data analytics and data science tools (Tableau, Dataiku, Cloud AI tools).
  • Experience managing applications on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • History of working with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) or Department of Transportation (DOT) and their processes / data.

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
