Essential Functions
- Reporting and Analytics
- Oversees recurring reporting schedules (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual) to deliver accurate and timely data.
- Integrates and analyzes data from multiple sources using a variety of analytical tools.
- Provides comprehensive reporting and analytical support across Community Programs to drive data-informed decision-making.
- Defines and tracks key performance indicators to measure program outcomes and performance.
- Designs and presents dashboards that drive continual quality improvement by collaborating with leadership and program staff to establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators.
- Develop tailored reports and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders, presenting key insights and metrics.
- Extracts, organizes, and applies quality-control measures to data, coordinating with relevant teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Translates complex data concepts into simplified, easy-to-understand insights for diverse stakeholders.
- Manages the full lifecycle of reports, dashboards, and analysis tools from design and development to implementation and ongoing maintenance.
- Develops and implements standard operating procedures for reporting and data analysis to ensure efficiency, consistency, and reliability.
- Documents processes and ensures accuracy and consistency in reporting efforts.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Contributes to developing business cases for data reporting and analytics projects by collaborating with Community Programs staff to identify data needs, challenges, benefits, and key metrics.
- Facilitates discussions with Community Programs staff to gather and clearly define reporting requirements, using these to design and implement analytical tools.
- Manages stakeholder expectations and needs to ensure data requirements are complete, unambiguous, and effectively meet reporting objectives.
- Provides support to business users by coordinating with IT to review and provide input on the design of technical data solutions, resolving issues and addressing conflicts among stakeholders.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to understand the implications of analyses and to ensure that findings are actionable and support data-driven program, policy, and operational decision-making.
- Process Optimization
- Participates in preparing and planning project business analysis to establish realistic business objectives and expectations, as well as the scope of requirements with the full support of key stakeholders.
- Collaborates with functional teams to translate data analysis findings into the development and implementation of tools, products, or business process improvements.
- Leads special data projects and assignments that support strategic decision-making for the organization.
- Implement new data-related workflows.
- Management
- May supervise and mentor team members, providing guidance and support for data analysis and reporting tasks.
- Ensure work is prioritized appropriately and that all deadlines are met.
- Support and step in as needed to help individual team members strive for their professional goals.

Certificates/Licenses/Clearances
- A valid California Class C Driver License or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions.
- Successful clearing through the Live Scan process with the County of Los Angeles.
- Strong communication skills for presenting data insights to stakeholders.
- Demonstrated proficiency in programming languages such as SQL or Python
- Demonstrated proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel)
- Experience with Business Intelligence and analytics software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Ability to work with large datasets and handle complex data queries.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
