The Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) is responsible for developing and executing global human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization. This individual will provide strategic leadership and provide expertise and leadership to the ELT, shareholders and the BoD, as it relates to the areas of succession planning, organizational design, talent management, recruiting, leading change, performance management, training and development, labor relations, communications, M&A, and compensation and benefits.

  • Develop, establish and implement global HR strategies and plans that effectively communicate and support the business mission and strategic vision and overall business objectives of the organization
  • Function as a strategic business advisor to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and associated leadership teams regarding key organizational and management issues
  • Work with the organization’s ELT to establish a sound plan of management succession that corresponds to the strategy and objectives of the organization
  • Provide leadership on matters of culture development, employee development and policy development
  • Manage dotted line reporting structures and global teams successfully to meet the needs of stakeholders and accomplish objectives of the organization
  • Serve as a strategic business partner in mergers and acquisitions including the due diligence process and the integration process post-sale
  • Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits plans that are competitive and cost-effective for the organization

Requirements:

  • At least 15 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years of executive HR experience and at least five years of international HR experience
  • Public company or Private Equity experience as the lead HR executive or broad based second chair
  • Experience in a field services-based or oil & gas company required
