Key Responsibilities Requirements

  • Sourcing and Identifying Potential Acquisition Targets:
  • Research and identify high-potential dental practices for acquisition within targeted geographic regions.
  • Build and maintain a strong network of dental professionals, brokers, and industry contacts to uncover new acquisition opportunities.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to generate leads and raise awareness of Parkview’s acquisition strategy.
  • Conducting Financial Valuations and Due Diligence:
  • Work with internal finance teams to conduct thorough financial assessments and valuations of prospective dental practices.
  • Analyze practice financials, market trends, and operational performance to determine fair value and potential ROI.
  • Prepare and present financial models to stakeholders for review and decision-making.
  • Negotiating and Structuring Deals:
  • Lead negotiations with dental practice owners, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and a smooth sales process.
  • Draft and review Letters of Intent (LOIs) and acquisition agreements in collaboration with internal legal and finance teams.
  • Coordinate with external attorneys and advisors to ensure that all legal, regulatory, and compliance aspects are addressed during the deal-making process.
  • Managing the Sales Process:
  • Drive the end-to-end sales process, from initial outreach to deal closure, ensuring a seamless experience for both the seller and the company.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (legal, finance, HR, and operations) to ensure all aspects of the acquisition are reviewed and approved in a timely manner.
  • Address any issues or roadblocks that arise during the acquisition process, ensuring that deals stay on track.
  • Relationship Management:
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with dental practice owners, brokers, and other key influencers in the industry. Serve as the primary point of contact for practice owners throughout the acquisition process, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Act as an ambassador for Parkview effectively communicating our values, mission, and vision to prospective sellers.
  • Reporting and Performance Tracking:
  • Track and report on acquisition targets, pro
  • gress, and deal status to senior leadership on a regular basis.
  • Provide market insights and feedback from the field to inform and refine acquisition strategies.
  • Analyze acquisition trends and report on deal success rates, financial performance, and market opportunities.

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, mergers and acquisitions, or sales, with a focus on the healthcare or dental industry (preferred).
  • Strong track record in driving acquisition activity and closing deals.
  • Experience working with financial models, valuations, and legal documents.

Skills

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze and assess financial statements and business performance.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deal processes simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM software.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • MBA or other relevant advanced degrees are a plus.
