POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Business Development to lead our business growth initiatives. This role will oversee a team of business development professionals and will be responsible for implementing strategic plans that enhance our market presence and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing and business development for healthcare, a passion for community engagement, and a proven track record in driving growth.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of business development professionals, providing guidance, support, and performance management to ensure the achievement of departmental goals.
- Strategic Planning: Expand and implement comprehensive business development strategies to expand our market reach and increase revenue across multiple locations.
- Community Engagement: Lead the team to expand and continue cultivating and maintaining relationships with key community stakeholders, including local organizations, healthcare providers, and government agencies, to identify business leads and foster partnerships all in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.
- Event Coordination: Plan, organize, and oversee community events, health fairs, and outreach programs that promote our services and build brand awareness within the community.
- Marketing Management: Lead and coordinate marketing efforts, including digital marketing campaigns, social media strategies, and traditional marketing initiatives, to drive brand recognition and patient engagement. Supervise Digital Marketing Specialist and oversee website design and maintenance.
- Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze internal new patient flow trends as well as external market insights to identify opportunities for growth and make data-driven decisions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with clinical and operational teams to ensure alignment between business development efforts and the overall organizational strategy.
- Budget Management: Oversee the business development and marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize return on investment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in business development, marketing, or sales within the healthcare industry including focus on referral sources
- Proven experience in team leadership and project management in a business development capacity.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, PPC, and social media marketing.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and build strong relationships within the community.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Must reside within the DFW area and open to traveling up to 80%.
Experience:
- Management: 2 years (Preferred)
