Primary Services is excited to announce the role of Project Manager - LNG for our client located in Portsmouth NH, a leader in the natural gas and LNG sector. This role offers a unique opportunity to manage large-scale LNG projects from start to finish, including overseeing design, procurement, and the coordination of internal and external resources. In this role, you will play a critical part in project execution, client relationship management, and technical oversight.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and ongoing communication.
  • Oversee the execution of LNG projects, managing schedules, budgets, and engineering efforts.
  • Provide technical leadership and oversight for the design, construction, and commissioning of LNG systems, including liquefaction, storage, truck transfer, and vaporization.
  • Report project status, budget, and schedule to senior management and project teams.
  • Hold meetings with clients to provide project updates and review progress.
  • Review design, procurement, and operational specifications for equipment and systems.
  • Provide troubleshooting and commissioning support during LNG plant startup and operations.
  • Coordinate internal resources and manage external teams, including construction managers and commissioning groups.
  • Review calculations, specifications, requisitions, and drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain expertise in LNG-related codes and standards (49CFR193, NFPA 59A, ASME B31.3, BPVC Section VIII).
  • Develop cost estimates and proposals in response to client requests.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to develop drawings for fabrication and construction of plant piping and equipment systems.
  • Travel to project sites approximately 10-15% of the time.

Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in EPC project management.
  • Hands-on field experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong background in cryogenic, natural gas, petrochemical, oil, or power systems design.
  • Experience specifying pumps, compressors, valves, heat exchangers, and pressure vessels.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • P.E. License is highly desired.
