JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a candidate who will collaborate across our Provider Workforce Strategy Team with a focus on our Provider Needs Assessment (PNA) and Provider Affiliation and Optimization (PAO) consulting services. The selected candidate is expected to support PNA and PAO client engagements and team initiatives, including, conducting data analyses, presentation preparation and other activities needed to provide exceptional, responsive and high-quality client experiences.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Assist in management of the provider database for PNA clients, encompassing tasks such as structuring new engagements, uploading data files, data initiating engagement rollovers based on PNA project team instructions and defined scope.
  • Assist in researching provider data for each PNA engagement.
  • Complete a series of data “cleaning” protocols through “R”, excel and the PNA application.
  • Assist in the calculation of Stark service areas, generation of Stark maps and associated presentation materials.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the PNA methodology for calculation of supply and demand of providers in a given market.
  • Analyze client and market data, including benchmarking financial and operational performance.
  • Manage the request for information (RFI) process for engagements
  • Initiate process to add new client users to the application
  • Develop client presentation materials.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to understand team and client initiatives.
  • Respond to client-related requests, as appropriate.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field (required), ideally with an emphasis in finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, accounting or health care administration
  • 2+ years of business-related experience preferred, ideally involving data analysis, financial modeling and presentation design
  • Solid technical knowledge and experience working with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and the ability to:
  • Identify, compile, analyze and organize data using a logical and systematic process
  • Recognize patterns and issues in sets of data
  • Identify most data issues and proactively seek guidance to determine the most appropriate solution.
  • Identify obstacles impeding project steps or task achievement
  • Apply analytical and proactive thinking in a logical, coherent and consistent manner
  • Ability to clearly and concisely communicate with the project team and tailor communications, formal or informal, to the audience
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and writing skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage and execute tasks in a high-pressure, fast-paced, and priority-changing environment
  • Strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience working within a consulting or health care-related firm preferred
  • Basic programming experience is a plus

Reflected below is the base salary range offered for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors including but not limited to academic achievements, skills and experience. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

  • $77,700 - 116,500 annually
