Role Description

This is a Full time hybrid role for a Photo Studio Manager and Metadata Workflow Architect located in Los Angeles, CA, (Hollywood area) with some work from home flexibility. The role involves managing photo studio operations, overseeing metadata organization, and designing efficient workflow processes to streamline photo production.

  • Expert in Capture One photography management platform
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Expert in photography studio management
  • Expert in in-studio on on-location photo digital assistant duties
  • Expert in color management workflows
  • Expert in file management and organization
  • Expert in photo retouching (fashion, beauty, jewelry)
  • Communication and Customer Service skills
  • Team Leadership and Project Management skills
  • Expert in photo metadata creation and organization
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Collaborative and adaptive in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in the jewelry or fashion industry is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Manage existing photo workflow that brings all needed metadata into Capture One at time of shoot
  • Manage existing metadata bridge between product development team and marketing team
  • Create best practice guideline documentation for our team
  • Get all metadata into Canto for all imagery already shot (backlog)
  • find and implement automation solutions
  • manage outsourced retouch teams and the data back and forth
  • Digi Tech - photo assist on shoots, planning and executing photo shoots
  • Manage studio and gear inventory, make recommendations for new purchases
  • Evaluating all tools used currently and consulting on ways to improve accuracy from vision to final product
  • some photography duties as needed
  • manage existing Post production pipeline and workflow optimization
  • Evaluate and optimize processes involved in all things photo post, including file management, retouching tools, Ai integrations, etc
  • Retouching photos in house as needed
  • manage existing and consult on cloud storage strategy / workflow
