Title - Manufacturing Engineer (Tooling)
Location - Shawano, Wisconsin (onsite only)

Job Description:
Mandatory Skills:
• B.S. in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing engineering required
• 3+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Excellent verbal and written skills required
• Proficiency with PC's and Microsoft suite
• Proficiency in CAD including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.
• Understanding of SPC
• Strong Project Management skills
Responsibilities:
• Identifies areas of unnecessary cost and drive cost savings for the department.
• Perform BOM audits & validation activities
• Develop manufacturing process flow and with reduce cost
• Assembly process planning
• Systematic layout planning, production planning & control
• Conducts direct labor studies using acceptable engineering practices and establishes labor standards on operations, set up, and workstation layout.
• Material flow and standardization process support.
• Lean implementation
• Create new/ update existing manufacturing process documentation, e.g., tooling lists, setup requirements and standard work instructions
• Defines tooling, fixturing, material handling requirements (Carts, trolleys, etc.) used in the manufacturing process, while also assisting with ideas for specialized processes.
• Coordinates with tool vendor to specify or procure new tooling and fixtures to make necessary changes.
• Work on Internal quality issues & Vendor quality issues
• Work with operations to identify and document all build related issues.
• Generate weekly issue reports with priority rankings.
• Vendor engagement for project requirements.
• Supporting to continuous improvement process
• Daily follow up with projects and interaction with customer.
• Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, recommending actions.
