What you'll do as the Senior Financial Analyst:

  • Analyze SG&A Spend: Focus on investments, cost-saving initiatives, discretionary spending, and compensation within the Ecolab divisions.
  • Coordinate Monthly Close and Forecasting: Facilitate system loads, communicate guidance, analyze results, and prepare content for financial reviews with senior leadership.
  • Trend Analysis: Understand year-over-year and sequential trends within SG&A, highlighting key drivers and actionable insights.
  • Business Partnership: Work closely with division finance and cross-functional leadership to understand spending needs, articulate trends, and ensure alignment throughout the year.
  • Headcount Planning: Integrate headcount planning into SG&A analysis and forecasting to provide accurate financial outlooks.
  • Annual Planning Support: Partner with division finance and leadership teams to drive cost center-level planning, ownership, and alignment in the annual budgeting process.
  • Develop MBR Content: Create sustainable content for monthly business reviews (MBRs) and provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Industrial Finance: Work alongside the broader Industrial finance team to enhance reporting capabilities and meet critical business needs.

What you'll bring to the Senior Financial Analyst role:

  • Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, or a related field.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Skills:
  • Strong financial modeling, analysis, and reporting capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI (a plus).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and a strong ability to interpret financial data.
