Role Description

This is a part-time remote contract role for a Social Media Marketing specialist. The Social Media Marketing Specialist will be responsible for assisting in tasks associated with creating and curating social media content, implementing social media marketing strategies, writing engaging copy, and scheduling social media content.

Qualifications + Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in a creative marketing field
  • Strong short and long-form copywriting and communication skills
  • Strong video editing skills
  • Experienced in Canva + Asana + Capcut Meta Business Suite
  • Experience in managing or working on multiple social media platforms
  • Experience working in & understanding Meta analytics
  • Familiar with Pinterest marketing & add tools
  • Knowledge of social media trends and best practices
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Creativity and ability to think outside the box
  • Ability to work on a flexible schedule
  • Graphic design experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of the Interior Design industry is a plus

We're seeking someone to support our social media efforts and work with a small, growing team! This role is creative, collaborative, and best suited for someone who has years of social media and creative marketing experience behind them and is strong in copywriting, video editing, and visuals. The Social Media Specialist role is an hourly position starting at about 10 hours a week, with the opportunity to take on more as the team grows.

This is a part-time, remote position with a preference for West Coast-based applicants.
