  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Scout, evaluate, and advise on promising carbon capture technologies at scale.
  • Interpret small-scale and pilot-size capture process data for techno-economic and scale-up analyses.
  • Perform in-depth scientific and technical analysis of selected capture technologies. This includes process simulations with tools like ProII, Aspen, COMSOL.
  • Deliver technical analysis, conceptual plant design, technical costs, life-cycle analysis, safety concerns, maturity and risk management plans.
  • Advise on engineering for different scales: from lab scale to 100 tpa (tons of CO2 per annum), 1,000 tpa, 1 Mtpa.
  • Coordinate with external partners and internal stakeholders to define scopes of work with clear targets, milestones, and organizational structures.
  • Evaluate and challenge processes and designs proposed by partners and technology developers especially for scaling up.
  • When necessary, engage an engineering company to assist with process design and technical cost evaluation.
  • Manage the collaborative contractual framework with technology developers.
  • Adopt a balanced management style with partners to foster collaboration and innovation while maintaining the project on track and budget.
  • Provide scientific and technical guidance to partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Promote HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) initiatives and ensure a strong HSE awareness across partners.
  • Maintain a high standard of internal reporting.
  • Stay abreast of technological developments and adjust project documents when needed.
  • Promote technical innovation internally and externally.
