This internship will facilitate hands-on experience partnered with mentorship from firm leadership, alongside a comprehensive understanding of operations as a registered investment advisor (RIA). This is unique opportunity for interns to engage in tangible projects, develop critical professional skills, navigate areas of interest for their future career path, and establish meaningful connections with employees and clients across our organization. This role has the potential develop into a long-term part of our team in either the communications or financial planning career tracks.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Generate and deploy an outlined communications plan on our digital platforms
  • Develop and maintain a solid understanding of LVZ business, portfolios, compliance, reporting metrics, organizational structure, programs and controls, client and financial planning process
  • Edit, format, and design pieces for social media, email communication, mailings, signage, videos, podcasts, client facing material, and web pages
  • Activate brand presence at both internal and community events
  • Assist in planning and implementing the 2025 LVZ Summit
  • Communicate with clients regarding scheduling meetings or meeting follow-up
  • Organize financial plans and prepare client meeting agendas
  • Participate in client planning meetings
  • Manage the Department of Labor (DOL) paperwork for transfers/rollovers of retirement accounts, create LVZ DOL documents for LVZ, Inc.
  • Organize client tax documents after submission, input information for tax planning
