Purpose of the Position

Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) is an integral member of the senior leadership team charged with creating and championing the company’s strategic human resource plan, optimizing organizational support structure, and strengthening the Company’s diverse talent base and culture.

The CHRO is a strong leader with passion, drive, and a commitment to integrating impactful short and long- term HR strategies in areas of employment branding, talent assessment, recruitment, learning, and development, retention, coaching, performance management, career pathing, compensation & benefits, and employee relations. This highly visible and engaged leader is a trusted advisor and strategic business partner who positively influences and instills a culture of functional and team excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to work across a mission driven environment with the agility to be resourceful, creative, and maintain flexibility to engage multiple parties.
  • Possesses strong collaboration skills to facilitate open sharing of information between various groups and individuals.

  • Balanced People Leader. Has good balance of field and corporate experience
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Strategic Human Resources, Organization Development, or related field required. A master’s degree is a plus.
  • Ten (10) years of human resources experience, five (5) at an executive level leading cross-functional HR teams including the development and execution of HR strategy that is aligned with overall business strategy
  • Strong decision-making skills. Must be able to drive the strategy and communicate the vision.
