A leader in the Education domain is looking to expand their data function by hiring a data analyst in an onsite capacity in New York City. If you are looking for a highly visible role with growth opportunities this is the one for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver insightful, data-driven reports to stakeholders by writing complex SQL queries in an Amazon Redshift data warehouse.
  • Design, build, and maintain SQL-based transformations in dbt to support both new and existing use cases.
  • Develop and manage Looker dashboards utilized by senior leadership and operations teams across the organization.
  • Partner with operations and management teams to gather business requirements and convert them into efficient SQL code.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to create optimized, transformed datasets for various reporting needs.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical field (Math, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology) or equivalent experience in data analytics.
  • Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, with at least two years of experience.
  • Practical experience with data visualization and reporting tools like Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain intricate data models and dashboards.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
