Job Summary:

The Procurement Coordinator will support the procurement team by managing the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing and Supplier Management: Identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate contracts and pricing terms. Ensure suppliers meet quality standards and delivery deadlines.
  • Purchase Order Management: Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Track shipments and resolve any issues that arise during the procurement process.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and ensure an adequate supply of goods to meet organizational needs. Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier communications. Prepare regular reports on procurement metrics and performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including finance, operations, and production, to understand their procurement needs and provide timely support.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline procurement processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and cost savings.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Fiber experienced preferred.
