KBC Management, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to play a key role in the efficient operation of our maintenance department. This position is responsible for scheduling maintenance staff, ensuring work orders and turnovers are assigned and completed in a timely manner, and handling bill entry for maintenance-related expenses. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and assign maintenance work orders and turnover tasks to the maintenance team.
- Coordinate workflow to ensure timely completion of repairs, turnovers, and preventive maintenance.
- Monitor work progress, follow up with maintenance staff, and adjust schedules as needed.
- Process and enter bills related to maintenance work into Appfolio (property management software), ensuring accuracy and proper coding.
- Communicate with vendors regarding maintenance invoices and confirm services completed.
- Maintain records of work orders, vendor invoices, and maintenance-related costs.
- Collaborate with Maintenance Team Leads to ensure maintenance needs are met efficiently.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in property management, maintenance coordination, or administrative support preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Experience with AppFolio or similar property management software is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Familiarity with basic maintenance terminology and processes is helpful.
