tonies US is looking for a highly skilled and motivated data analyst with the ability to derive insights from sales and operational data for a fast-growing consumer product company.

The Senior Data Analyst works within our president’s office supporting the different business teams as tonies expands its distribution network with a growing DTC business including Amazon and wholesale partners such as Target, Walmart, and Kohls.

This individual will have the experience and ability to see the decisions that need to be informed by data, illustrate the decision-logic clearly to team members, and work across departments/businesses to extract the data needed to derive business critical insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing data analysis tasks such as building reports, identifying trends, and making recommendations based on findings
  • Communicating with management regarding research findings, presenting reports in written or verbal format, and providing recommendations for action based on findings
  • Conducting research on current industry trends to identify new opportunities and threats to the company’s business model
  • Recommending improvements to existing processes and procedures based on data analysis findings
  • Developing models that can be used to predict future outcomes based on current trends
  • Interpreting data to identify patterns and relationships between different variables
  • Identifying opportunities to improve business processes through the use of data mining and predictive analytics tools
  • Compliance reporting; Sell-through dashboards; Cohort performance evaluations
  • Sales reporting & activation updates; Forecasting support
  • End-user analysis & comparisons
  • POS map for the US
  • Inventory reporting & leakage trees
  • Royalties reporting
  • New launch dashboards
  • Providing recommendations for improving processes based on research finding

What you'll bring:

  • 5+ years experience as a senior data analyst or similar position in a consumer product company
  • Experience in dashboard building (Tableau, Looker, etc.), Snowflake, ERP systems including ability to code in languages needed to access, process and visualize data from Snowflake and other data repositories
  • Strong data analysis/reporting skills to help drive insights and reporting across the team.
  • Extensive knowledge of data analysis methods including descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analysis
  • Ability to create simple illustrations or models of the logic flow being used to solve a particular problem before investing the time in solving it
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to provide clear and concise direction/feedback to external and internal stakeholders as well as the ability to influence others.
  • Willingness to help others and work in a global team environment.
  • Believe in the power of imagination for inspiring kids and accelerating their development
