Job Description:
OVERVIEW:
This position involves daily laboratory testing of food products. The position requires significant attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
SCHEDULE:
Mon - Fri 6:00am - 11:00am
RESPONSIBILITES:
Preferred skills based on previous laboratory experiences which would include:
Follow lab and plant safety requirements
· Accurate weighing, pipetting and quantitative transfer of solutions and samples, ability to safely work with hazardous compounds, preparation of solutions
· Operation of lab equipment; and basic equipment troubleshooting.
· Operate and maintain a laboratory as part of a team.
· Organize workload to maximize result output and meet deadlines.
· Conduct analytical testing analysis
· Adhere to QA/QC requirements.
· Maintain a work environment that complies with safety rules.
Communicate with Operations and FSQ on issues
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
· High School Degree preferred

· Strong oral and written communication skills.
· Proficiency in basic Word and Excel
· Must be able to remain standing for minimum of 2 hours.
· Must have steel toe boots and white t-shirt(s)
· All jewelry must be removable
