Responsibilities
Evaluation of Effectiveness of Facility-
-Prepare daily and weekly reports to other departments regarding the status on cost, schedule, and workload requirements;
-Develop and maintain standard operating procedures to streamline operating processes;
-Determine logistic support sequences and time phasing, and other factors affecting the supply chain of any given contract;
-Evaluate existing systems and models of operation;
-Evaluate the use of inventory tracking technology and web-based warehousing software to maximize facility efficiency;
-Collaborate and develop supplier base with local and international shipping suppliers;
-Propose logistics solutions for management;
Research and Improvement of Facility and Processes-
-Review global, national, or regional transportation or logistics reports for ways to improve efficiency;
-Identify cost-reduction or process-improvement logistic opportunities;
-Prepare logistic strategies or conceptual designs for warehousing facilities;
-Comparing HTS Code, Schedule B Code, Import/Export laws and regulations among different countries;
-Prepare recommendations of operating procedures to management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in LOGISTICS, ENGINEERING, BUSINESS ANALYTICS, STATISTICS, SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT, or related
