Position: Director of Casino Compliance
Salary: $90k – 120k
SUMMARY:
Responsible for the coordination and oversight of the compliance functions for the Casino property as well as Gaming Minimum Internal Control policies and procedures and Title 31 and Anti-Money Laundering and Suspicious Activity Reporting policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop, prepare and implement the Compliance Plan including annual Title 31/SAR training, IRS e-file documentation, AML/SAR audit, NV Gaming Control Board compliance audit; oversees their implementation and responsible for all reporting requirements.
Provides quarterly updates to the Executive Committee regarding progress against the Corporate Compliance Plan and results of related audits and monitoring functions.
Identifies areas.
Develops, coordinates and participates in educational programs to ensure all have knowledge of, and comply with, pertinent federal and state standards as well as all Agency policies and procedures.
Investigates and acts on matters related to compliance, including designing and coordinating internal investigations in response to reports and audits.
Works with affected departments to assist in designing corrective action plans when necessary. Prepares and submits reports containing review findings. Identifies high risk areas and targeted areas requiring change. Makes recommendations for corrective action and is accountable for appropriate follow-up.

QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Knowledge of Title 31/AML and SAR regulations as well as the requirements of the Gaming Control Boards Minimum Internal Controls Standards.
Good communication skills to work with all gaming departments as well as all auditing agencies.
Must be able to pass and maintain Nevada Gaming License
Demonstrated leadership skills and ability.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Preferred degree in Accounting or related field with previous years of experience in accounting/auditing.
Minimum age requirement is 21.
Required recent experience as a compliance manager, or senior management staff, in a casino setting.
