Role Description

As a Market Specialist in your assigned stores, you will be responsible for driving Ultra Violette’s retail sales at Sephora and meeting your hourly sales per hour (SPH) goals. You will execute best in class education and sales strategies that ladder to Ultra Violette’s brand strategy. You require high energy, a love for skincare and a passion for driving sales in store with our retailer partner to exceed our sales goals. You will be joining a fast-growing global brand where it’s imperative to deliver a best-in-class level of SPF education and brand experience in store for our clients.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in field sales within retail or in an education/training capacity
  • Exceptional leadership and communication abilities
  • Proven ability to inspire and motivate retail teams to achieve sales objectives
  • Solid understanding of brand and retailer dynamics, particularly in the beauty industry (preferred)
  • Strong business networking skills with the ability to negotiate trainings, and primary space and location and keep Ultra Violette as priority in all stores served.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a focus on high-quality execution of in-store training and events.
  • Demonstrated ability to represent and promote a fast-growing brand, cultivating key retail partnerships to support business growth

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Sales & Retail Engagement: Work in-store with Sephora partners across your assigned territory as scheduled by the Ultra Violette Director of Sales and Education. Execute training sessions and engage with both store teams and clients to drive brand success, ensuring sales goals are met on a weekly basis.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong, positive relationships with retail partners, store managers, brand partners and staff to foster collaboration and growth.
  • KPI Management & Product Expertise: Consistently meet and exceed KPIs by leveraging in-depth product knowledge, expert skincare techniques, and superior service standards to enhance selling behaviors and performance, both in-store and during events.
  • Visual Merchandising Oversight: Manage the implementation and ongoing review of visual merchandising (VM) strategies. Ensure that each store visit includes a VM review aligned with brand goals and expectations.
  • Event Support: Plan and execute in-store events, ensuring alignment with overall brand strategy.
  • Education Delivery & Training: Partner with store leadership to deliver engaging training sessions in store. Collaborate with Ultra Violette Sales Director to ensure all educational initiatives meet brand standards while consistently finding innovative ways to make education exciting and impactful.
  • Brand Ambassadorship: Serve as a passionate ambassador for the Ultra Violette brand, inspiring store teams and customers about the importance and benefits of the SKINSCREEN category.
  • Performance Analysis & Reporting: Monitor and assess sales performance, identifying key growth opportunities and areas for improvement. Review weekly performance sales and trends, event outcomes and recommendations for ongoing enhancement.
