Job Description:

Our valued client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to design, develop, and implement innovative BI solutions. The ideal candidate will transform raw data into actionable insights, enabling business stakeholders to make data-driven decisions. This role requires a deep understanding of BI tools, data modeling, and analytics, with a passion for optimizing reporting processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy BI solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.

  • Create and maintain data models, KPIs, and metrics to meet business needs.

  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources into the data warehouse.

  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform strategic decisions.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders, to gather and define requirements.

  • Provide training and support to end-users for effective utilization of BI tools

  • Monitor BI system performance and troubleshoot any issues.

  • Optimize data queries and BI tools for efficiency and scalability.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of BI solutions, processes, and best practices.

  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security compliance.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.

Desired Background/Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a BI Developer or in a similar role.

  • Proven expertise in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).

  • Strong experience with databases and SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MS SQL Server).

  • Hands-on experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, or DAX is a plus.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is preferred.

  • Knowledge of advanced analytics and machine learning is an advantage.

  • Salary level: $115,000 - $125,000 (Negotiable)

  • Must have a familiarity or foundational knowledge of Physical Security systems
