We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Administrator to join our Human Resources team. As an HR Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, ensuring smooth operations, and providing excellent service to our employees. You will be responsible for maintaining employee records, assisting with recruitment processes, managing benefits administration, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, both in physical and electronic formats
  • Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, conducting orientations, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and terminations, while ensuring compliance with legal requirements
  • Process employee changes, such as promotions, transfers, and terminations, in a timely and accurate manner
  • Assist with payroll processing by gathering employee data and ensuring accuracy of information
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits
  • Support performance management processes, including tracking performance reviews and providing administrative assistance
  • Assist with HR-related projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement surveys, training programs, and policy development
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining office supplies

Requirements:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in HR
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and legal regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
